Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful day today, the weather was beautiful! We went to church and heard a great sermon, the music was amazing and I was in tears the whole service as I sat right behind baby Brock. A little boy who we have been praying for since October. He is battling cancer and is only one years old. He is the first miracle I have seen with my own eyes. The power of prayer is so strong! It was awesome to see his family together at church today.
Then we went to my Grandma and Pepaw's house for a huge Easter Lunch, ham, turkey and all the fixings! With pound cake and strawberries, yellow cake with chocolate icing and lemon squares for desert! So good I am still full. The kids all had a fun Easter egg hunt, Lily got 11 eggs full of quarters and lots of eggs full of candy. She LOVED the hunt and has not put her basket of eggs down all day! Jett even got to hunt eggs too! What a blessed day!

(we didn't know the camera was on black and white)
Here is Lily and Jett, it is nearly impossible to get Jett to sit still long enough to take a picture. Yes he is at that age....
Our family picture trying to face the wind!
John Mark playing with Jett, the boys like to stick together.
Grandma and Pepaw working away in the kitchen to feed their family.
The kids getting ready to go on THE HUNT!
Look what I found!!

Uncle David helping Jett find some eggs.

Jett was so proud of himself for finding his two eggs, that was all he needed!
I like this picture because they are making the same face.

After we all took naps we went to my Memaw's house and ate dinner with her and on the way home from Yukon we saw the most amazing lightening show, it was all in one huge cloud and it was like watching a fireworks show. For the entire 25 minute ride home we watched the lightening so bright in this one area of the sky. Every time the lightening flashed Lily would say boom boom boom! It was so beautiful.
