May 18 2011...Began seriously praying about adoption. Where we wanted to adopt and which agency we felt led to use.
June 18 2011...decided on Ethiopia and All Gods Children International for our Agency
June 23 2011...completed application to agency and first payment
July 5 2011...Orientation with our agency
July 30 2011...1st Home study Interview
October 12 2011...Fingerprints cleared
July 17th 2012...marks 5 months of waiting
July 17th 2012...start updating homestudy
January 2013....re-submitted update homestudy
February 2013....#31 on siblings list, #80 girls list, #67 boys list
February 2013....12 months of waiting
February 17th 2014.... 24 months of waiting for Ethiopia adoption
February 10, 2014...turned in all paperwork to pursue a domestic adoption in Oklahoma.
February 10, 2014...started working on our birth mother book.
February 20, 2014...turned in birth mother book and final paperwork to Deaconess.
(little did we know this is the same day our babies were born!!!)
February 23, 2014... Recieved our referral call! 4pm on Sunday afternoon, a birthmother had chosen us and wanted to meet us, the babies were already born and in the NICU in Norman.
February 24, 2014...met with birth mom, everything went fantastic. Drove straight to the hospital to hold Oliver and Ruby for the first time. JOY!
March 1, 2014....Oliver came home from the NICU.
March 5, 2014...Ruby came home from the NICU.
Our family is complete! Praise Jesus for His amazing plan for our family and our children.
