Sea Salt

Today was a very productive day in the home building process for us. I spent some time with the rep from Beacon Homes looking at our floor plan, we made a few minor changes which ended with taking out a small linen closet and doubling the size of our pantry!
We were also able to see a home that is almost exactly like our layout but smaller. Since we have never walked through our floor plan before this was extremely helpful, it gave us a feel for what our house will be like and made me feel so much better!
We also went to the paint store, got some samples and came home and painted some poster boards to get an idea of what color we wanted for the interior.
We are going with a color called Sea Salt. Its the perfect blue/gray combo for a very light and fresh looking house. It's something totally different than anything I have ever done before. In the two houses I have lived in everything has been pretty beige and green. I am really excited about our color choice!
