Playroom

Our new home has a study off of the living room with french doors. Jarrod and I thought it would make more sense to use this as playroom for the kids. They usually want to play wherever I am at and this way we can have all the toys in one room and out of the living room. I am excited for them to have their own space to play together. Here are some picture of things that have inspired this room or that we are going to use in the playroom.

We have a table and four chairs a couple bookshelves with lots of colorful baskets for toys and tv for lots of toys story and princess movies.

I still need to find a rug that is kid friendly (if one exists) to tie the room together. I am looking at using flor.com which I talk more about in another post they are really great carpet tiles.

Here are some great baskets from the land of nod, I love all the colors!

I love the way they have everything organized on these bookshelves and really love the shelves at the bottom that you can just throw toys into.

I bought an art eisel amost just like this at Ikea for only $15. But I did have to get this great mat to put underneath to protect the floor when painting, also great to use for messy snacks.

We bought a new expresso colored table and two chairs in cranberry red and apple green. I have two chairs that I am going to paint orange and turquoise. I love the mismatched chairs!

We will have two of these bookshelves that I got on sale at potterybarn kids. I love the numbers and letters on top!

Things like this make me happy. Old cheese puff jars a mom redisigned for toys AND labels with pictures so the kids know which toys go in which jar! Pefect!

Great idea! Need to get the kids painting and drawing!

I hope the munchkins love their new playroom!

I love to see the "school teacher's heart" come out in you in the way you organize and design space for your children. Your love for Lily and Jett and your nurturing spirit come through in every selection. I am so proud of the wonderful mother you have become.
