I got antsy on painting and decided to start with some of our furniture. I played it safe and painted the kids little table. I painted the table in chalkboard paint, I knew they would love drawing on it and did the chairs in aqua and distressed them a bit. It was fun!
First things first, sand and prime. Sorry about the dark pictures, I had to do this when the kids were in bed, otherwise they would want to "help".

Next we started painting, here is what I used. I read that spray painting furniture gives it a cleaner look and it was so easy.


The chairs all done!



Lily was very happy that she could draw on her table now, hopefully I dont regret it when I am cleaning up chalk dust, but I did put a table cloth down on the floor, not very pretty, but protects the fabulous rental carpet. (:
