Well I have been consumed with our house building project and have spent every spare second of my time picking out things for the new house. I have finally had enough and have decided to take a big step back from all of that, and concentrate on my kids and my family. Back to the point of my blog, figuring out the best ways to take care of my family.
It is fall, summer has come to an end and it's time to get back on a schedule. My mom was here last week and we had a great time visiting with her, and this next week we have a lot of things starting up so it's the perfect time to start our new schedule and plan some fun activities.
I think when you are a stay at home mom it's easy to get into a routine of doing nothing, there is something great about that, not having to rush from one thing to the next and enjoying life! But i have realized that i need to kick it up a few notches and have some planned activities for my kids. They are only 1 and 3 years old but if I find the right activities there is so much they can be learning and exploring! So, this week I am starting our home preschool program (;
I am going to use my teacher skills and find activities and lessons and put together lesson plans. If I spend some time each night writing out activities to do for the next day, my day will run smooth and the kids will have more fun and be learning something! Instead of just wandering around bored and we all know what boredom leads to, whining!!
So I am going to post our schedule, it's nothing formal I don't have time to right everything out and honestly I probably wont get it up here every day. But the reason I am posting it is because I know I would love to see what other moms do with their kids during the day. And get ideas, if you have ideas please tell me! Or if you want to post activities you like to do with your kids, please let me know! We have a lot of time for lots of fun, so let me know what you and your kids love doing during the day!
Here is Day 1
