Jett's Appointment Today

Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for checking on Jett and thinking and praying for him. I so appreciate it!We had a really good appointment today, Jett was really good, which made all the tests easier. They did 3 tests one to check his overall hearing, which the specialist said he did fantastic on! (: Then they checked his fluid levels those were fine as well. But then they checked the pressure in his middle ear. And that was off. There was a lot of pressure there more than there is supposed to be. Which she said can cause dizziness. That makes a lot of sense why he had those dizzy spells. So she is sending us to an ear nose and throat physician. He will test him further and figure out if he needs tubes or if he wants to let it go and see if it corrects itself.
There was supposed to be a speech therapists there, but because of an emergency appointment she couldn't meet with Jett so I wasn't able to get any help with his speech. But we have a sooner start appointment on Tuesday next week and they will evaluate him and let me know if he is far enough behind in language to qualify for sooner start.
For those of you not from OK sooner start is Oklahoma's early intervention program designed to help infants and toddlers with disabilities and developmental delays.

So overall good news, there is nothing wrong with his hearing, she said even with all that pressure he is still hearing in a normal range. So we are happy to have some possible answers to the dizziness. I will keep you posted to what the next doctor says.
