My project for the next few months is to get rid of stuff that I do not want to take to the new house, it's exciting to have a brand new space to organize our things and hopefully keep it that way as long as possible!
So right now I am thinking about our dining room, trying to put it together in my head and get all the pieces we need. I am thinking about this now because I need to pick out our chandelier!
I have a new table from pottery barn and that is all I have so far. I still need curtains, lighting and chairs. Oh and I do have a fabulous mirror that is going on the wall in the dining area.
Here is our table but it is in the lighter wood rustic pine (click on first picture)

The black chandelier is awesome, but I would never have it in Bakersfield because of the never-ending dust in the air. I'm partial to white.

The first chandelier seems like it would be a big pain to clean. I like the white ones. I love the pic looking down on the table with the green moss decoration.
I want all your old stuff you're getting rid of! :)
Hey! I just came across your blog via facebook! I LOVE the first chandelier!! The chunky gunmetal is awesome and breaks it up so nicely-- so unexpected. Anything you choose you really can't go wrong with. Restoration Hardware is having a good sale with light fixtures and chandeliers right now (don't think it's over yet)! Just bought one for myself there-- we are FINALLY starting to decorate my house (it's only taken us a year- ha!). Happy shopping! Isn't it fun?!

I think you should go bold and go for the black one! It would definitely make a statement and would be a lovely focal point and people would remember it. Plus I was looking at your other inspiration pics for your home...you had hints and other punches of black, so it would all tie in really nicely!!! Plus black goes beautifully with that turquoise that you're wanting to bring in. You could always do another chandelier in white in the bathroom or bedroom too :)
